To
make 0.5M TCEP aliquots
This
is just dissolving the TCEP and pH-ing back to 7.0
1)
Pour
6 x 1g bottles of TCEP powder into a 50ml conical.
2)
Fill
one of the TCEP bottles with cold H2O and pour from one to the other
to collect all the powder that was left behind, then pour into the 50mL
conical.
3)
Add
cold water to ~35mL.
4)
Add
KOH pellets to pH to 7.0. This means
adding around 45 pellets, so add ~40, rock until dissolved, then add one by one
dissolving 'till the pH is 7.0
5)
Make
up to 40mL with cold H2O.
6)
Aliquot
in 1mL ependorfs, and freeze at -20ēC.
